Previous Indian opening batsman Wasim Jaffer, while naming his India playing XI for the pink-ball Test match against Sri Lanka National Cricket Team, said that the left-arm spinner Axar Patel will stroll once more into the group.
The subsequent Test match of the two-match Test series between Rohit Sharma-drove India National Cricket Team and Dimuth Karunaratne-drove Sri Lanka National Cricket Team will start at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru from March 12.
In the interim, Wasim Jaffer feels that India won't make a lot of changes in the subsequent game and the main change will be the expansion of Axar or Mohammed Siraj to the playing XI set up spinner Jayant Yadav.
"Groups should hope to bat first in the wake of winning the throw, particularly in India, no question. I figure Axar Patel will stroll once again into the playing XI, yet India will be enticed to check Mohammad Siraj with the pink ball out. Thus, the main disputable position is the 11th position, whether it is Siraj or Axar, however no doubt it would be Axar," he was cited as saying by ESPNCricinfo.
